Cole Haan is closing its store in SouthPark mall on Jan. 31.

Ahead of the closing, the retailer is having a clearance sale of 50 percent off everything, though all sales are final, an employee said.

Cole Haan sells men’s and women’s shoes, apparel and accessories. Its SouthPark store is between Pottery Barn Kids and Michael Kors.

It’s unclear why the retailer is closing at SouthPark. A Cole Haan representative confirmed the closing date but did not provide rationale for it. She did say, though, that it is not related to the sale of the company.

In 2012, Nike sold Cole Haan to private equity firm Apax Partners for $570 million.

Cole Haan, based in New York, operates 108 stores domestically and another 68 internationally.
