An episode of Undercover Boss that airs Jan. 29 will feature a Marco’s Pizza in Huntersville.
Undercover Boss is the CBS Emmy-winning reality show that has a company executive disguised and working alongside lower-level employees to experience what business is like from the front lines.
The Huntersville episode has several scenes at the pizzeria at 13024 Eastfield Road. It features a local shift leader named Devin who unknowingly works alongside Marco’s Pizza President and Chief Operating Officer Bryon Stephens.
In the episode, Stephens worked as a Marco’s pizza delivery driver, cashier and pizza maker, and he also loaded trucks late-night at the company’s distribution center in Toledo, Ohio. As a result of his experience, Stephens instituted a new policy requiring all corporate office staff work at least one day a year at a Marco’s store.
