Sunflour Baking Company is opening a new Dilworth location Monday morning.
The store at 220 East Blvd., near Fuel Pizza, is the former home of Sweet Lorraine’s Bakery. The new Sunflour will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the same hours as the bakery’s other location in Elizabeth.
The bakery said on its website that the new Dilworth shop is closed for renovations, and an employee from the Elizabeth location confirmed the Jan. 25 opening.
Along with an assortment of coffees and teas, the new bakery’s menu features homemade scones, croissants, biscuits, muffins, cakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies, breads and hot and cold sandwiches.

Self-taught baker Debbie Bartok opened the first Sunflour Baking Company in 2010 at 2001 E. 7th St. with her two daughters, Marion Burhmaster, a pastry chef, and Johanna Saruse, an accountant. Bartok sold the bakery to local businessman Jack Parrish and his wife Umarin in August 2014.
