Cabela’s is again hosting a series of gun safety and education classes at its Fort Mill store near Carowinds.

The courses take place throughout March and April. They’ll be taught by the store’s staff, special guests and industry partners. They’re free, and no registration is required.

The Fort Mill store is at 1000 Cabelas Drive, off I-77.

Cabela’s says the classes are a part of a company-wide effort to educate customers on the various aspects of responsible firearm ownership and safety. The company also offered this series of courses in January and February.

Firearm access remains a popular talking point for GOP candidates. It’s also a divisive political topic on which President Barack Obama recently took executive action.
