Wal-Mart is opening a Neighborhood Market store in Mooresville this summer. Ahead of the opening, the retailer is hiring up to 95 people to staff the store, which is at 966 East Iredell Ave.
Wal-Mart has set up a temporary hiring center at 350 West Plaza Drive, Suite M., according to a statement this week. It will accept applications from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and workers can also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com.
The retailer is hiring for both part-time and full-time positions. The majority of new employees will start work this spring to help ready the store for its grand opening.
The Neighborhood Market is Wal-Mart’s version of a traditional grocery store. It offers low-priced items like fresh produce, meat, canned goods, health and beauty products, pet supplies and cleaning products. Wal-Mart opened its latest Neighborhood Market in Pineville in January.
