Chopt Creative Salad Co. is opening its second Charlotte location, this one in Blakeney, at 10 a.m. April 1.
The restaurant’s in a 3,711-square-foot space in the south Charlotte shopping center off Rea Road. Chopt offers “chopped-to-order” fresh salads and wraps in a Chipotle-like assembly line.
Ahead of the grand opening, the new Chopt is hosting a “family and friends” event 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 30. And March 31, it’s hosting a “Chopt Gives” event for the Second Harvest Food Bank kids’ program, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 5:30-8 p.m.
The restaurant chain operates another local store in the Park Road Shopping Center. That location opened in September. The Charlotte area is Chopt’s third market, along with the New York and District of Columbia areas.
