Five new tenants will open in the new RedStone development in Indian Land, S.C., next summer: Portofino’s Ristorante Italiano e Pizzeria, Red Rocks Café, Sharonview Federal Credit Union, Lee Spa Nails and Moe’s Southwest Grill.
This will be the first South Carolina location for Portofino’s and Red Rocks Café, according to a recent memo from MPV Properties, which is overseeing development of the 310,000-square-foot retail center.
Other future tenants at the center will likely be a salon and day spa, as well as coffee, sandwich and yogurt shops, said Keely Hines, the MPV leasing agent for the project.
RedStone is in northern Lancaster County at U.S. 521 and S.C. 160. The development will be anchored by a 14-screen movie theater. Construction on phase 1 of the project, which includes 54,900 square feet of retail space for shops and restaurants, kicked off in February.

MPV says when complete, the center will serve as “a major retail hub, servicing residents of Indian Land, Ballantyne, south Charlotte, Fort Mill, western Union County and all of Lancaster County.” It’s expected to open in summer 2017.
