A rooftop bar and indoor/outdoor poolside lounge are set to open June 2 at the Sheraton and adjoining Le Méridien in uptown Charlotte.

City Lights, a rooftop bar, will be on the 19th floor of Le Méridien Charlotte, the hotel said in a statement Wednesday. The bar, which the Sheraton says will be Charlotte’s largest rooftop bar, will offer “signature summertime cocktails,” lounge music and 360-degree views of the city’s skyline.

City Lights can accommodate 260 people and can be rented for banquets and receptions, the hotel said. It will be open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Craft City Social Club will be on the ground floor of the Sheraton Hotel. It will offer private cabana rentals and complimentary games such as darts and large-sized Jenga.

The club’s “Nuevo Latino” menu from executive chef Oscar La Fuente will offer items such as grilled jerk chicken and Cuban sandwiches, and its cocktail menu will include a “cask barrel program,” which will allow patrons to personalize their own whiskey and bourbon.

The club has capacity for 200 guests. It will serve weekend brunch between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the hotel said, and dinner will be available Monday through Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m. and Sunday until 6 p.m.

Le Méridien Charlotte and the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel are at 555 S. McDowell St.
