Northlake Mall said Thursday that it will open a new Kids Foot Locker store in mid June and is remodeling two other retailers, Kay Jewelers and Finish Line.
Northlake’s announcement comes as the mall gets ready to begin a $50 million, 200,000 square-foot addition. Starwood Retail Partners, which owns the mall, said construction should start in early 2017.
Here are the details Northlake has provided about the store addition and expansions:
▪ Kids Foot Locker will open a 3,193-square-foot store in the mall’s lower-level Dillard’s wing. The store sells brand-name athletic footwear, apparel and accessories for children.

▪ Kay Jewelers, located on the upper level grand court, began the remodel of its 1,598-square-foot store earlier this month. During construction, the jeweler is in a temporary space between Brooks Brothers and Pandora on the upper level.
▪ Finish Line is remodeling its 4,800-square-foot store on the lower level next to Express Men. The project will wrap up in June.
