Chick-fil-A just rolled out a new breakfast sandwich Monday that it says is aimed especially at health-minded customers.

The Egg White Grill breakfast sandwich features grilled chicken, egg whites and American cheese on an English muffin, the Atlanta restaurant chain said. It has 300 calories and 25 grams of protein.

This is the first breakfast sandwich Chick-fil-A has added in six years.

The restaurant chain said Monday it recognized the need to focus on breakfast as a growing segment. Industry-wide, Chick-fil-A says, the breakfast daypart has grown more than 60 percent over the last five years.

Chick-fil-A’s new menu item comes as other fast food restaurants are lightening their offerings to attract health-conscious customers. McDonald’s, for example, has been touting its salads and chicken wraps. Last year, Chick-fil-A also swapped out its popular coleslaw with a kale salad.

Here are some of the other changes customers can expect to Chick-fil-A’s menu starting Monday:

▪ The size of the Greek yogurt parfait is being increased to 5.5 oz. from 3.5 oz.

▪ Chick-fil-A is adding a new sweet and spicy sriracha dipping sauce

▪ The restaurant is adding three sauce flavors – smokehouse BBQ, garlic and herb ranch and zesty buffalo
