Uptown’s newest co-working space opened Thursday in a renovated 85-year-old building on West Fourth Street that once housed a Ford dealership.

Targeted at entrepreneurs and startups, Level Office leases private offices and co-working desks. Rates start at $349 a month for an office and $199 a month for a co-working desk. Company officials say the site is already 50 percent leased.

Level Office also operates in Chicago, Houston and Dallas.

The building at 227 W. Fourth St. was constructed in 1930. Perks at the office include 100 mbps fiber Internet, local beers on tap, lounge areas, an espresso bar and on-site administrative support.
