VerticalResponse, which specializes in self-service marketing tools for small businesses and nonprofits, polled more than 400 small-business customers from October through December 2013 to learn how they’re using social media in their everyday activities. Here are some responses:
60.7% spend less than six hours a week on social media.
35.2% are using YouTube as part of their social media activities.
12.4% use business review site Yelp.
