Charlotte entrepreneurs Carl and Gayle Guliford are slated to open the Kono Pizza franchise’s first kiosk inside a Walmart, just in time for Black Friday shoppers.
The store is located at 805 S.C. 9 Bypass, in Lancaster, S.C.
Kono Pizza describes its product as pizza served in a thin-crust cone that bakes in minutes. The Edison, N.J.-based franchise has 130 locations in 20 countries.
The Gulifords have an agreement to bring three locations to the greater Charlotte area, according to a press release.
