American Airlines, Charlotte’s main carrier, is suspending all flights from Charlotte at 9 p.m. Wednesday because of the impending snow storm.
American said about 200 flights are impacted as of now. The airline plans to resume flights from Charlotte at around noon Thursday.
“We are notifying our customers of the cancellations and strongly encourage customers who have travel scheduled tonight or tomorrow or those who are picking up or dropping off a friend or a loved one for a flight to check their flight status at aa.com,” said spokeswoman Michelle Mohr, in an email.
