A new website and app is available to Union County parents for the 2017-18 school year that will allow them to track their child's school bus location.
Parents can now track their children's bus routes on their smartphones, tablets or computers by using the Here Comes the Bus app, according to a spokesperson with Union County Public Schools.
The app can also show parents when the bus has arrived at the bus stop and at the school, the spokesperson said.
Parents can receive push notifications and emails when their child's bus is near the bus stop and when the bus has been substituted. Push notifications are only available on iPhones and Android devices.
The app is free and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. The app is available in English, Spanish and French.
