Two buses were involved in a crash Tuesday morning in northeast Charlotte, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools official said.

There weren’t serious injuries, school officials said.

The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. in the 3800 block of W. Sugar Creek Road at Torrence Street.

One bus, serving James Martin Middle School, had 29 students on board, an official said. The other bus, serving University Park Creative Arts School, had six students on board.
