Huntersville police found a sizable marijuana-growing operation at a home on Devin Alley Drive on Friday, and one man was arrested.
Police found 94 marijuana plants, and some were more than six feet tall, according to a Huntersville Police Department press release.
They also found about 50 pounds of “usable marijuana,” the press release said, and 13 handguns and four long guns.
Robert Somervell, 48, was arrested and taken to the Mecklenburg County Detention Center, the press release said.
Somervell has been charged with several marijuana-trafficking offenses. He has no history of drug charges in North Carolina, court records show.
