One lane of Westinghouse Boulevard will be closed until about 8 a.m. Monday because of a crash early Sunday, the Observer’s news partner WBTV reported.
A U.S. mail truck driver crashed a tractor-trailer at about 6:30 a.m. on Westinghouse Boulevard eastbound near Interstate 77, WBTV reported. The driver was ejected from the truck and has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Citing police, WSOC reported that the driver fell asleep at the wheel and the truck went off the road and down an embankment.
