N.C. 150, a major Lake Norman road known for its notorious daily bottlenecks, was closed for 1 1/2 hours Monday night due to downed power lines.
The road was closed about 6:30 p.m. in both directions near Interstate 77 Mooresville Exit 36, the state Department of Transportation said. The road was shut down near Rolling Hills Road (Lakeside Business Park), just west of the exit. Crews reopened the highway by about 8 p.m., the department said.
