Mother and son found in November died of natural causes, report finds

The November death of an elderly Salisbury mother was accidental, and her son’s death was natural, a medical examiner ruled.

Neighbors found Mary Louise Bradley, 95, face-down in her backyard. Her son, David, 72, was found on his back under a nearby utility trailer.

The examiner determined Mary Bradley died of hypothermia and David Bradley died of a probable irregular heartbeat. The report noted he suffered from a “non-specified psychiatric disorder,” and both residences were “in great disarray.”

David Bradley had blood on his face and hands, and the garage had a freshly broken window, the report notes.

Police suspected no foul play at the time.
