Federal marshals have arrested a man who had been a fugitive for 10 years after failing to appear for sentencing on drug charges in Western North Carolina.
The U.S. Marshal’s Violent Offender Task Force arrested Reginald Glenn Patterson, 44, in Los Angeles on Friday.
Patterson had pleaded guilty to intent to sell and deliver marijuana but never appeared in federal court in the western district for sentencing in June 2005, the U.S. Marshal Service said.
Marshals in Charlotte recently got information on Patterson’s whereabouts and forwarded it to colleagues in California.
