It’s time to check your wallets and purses – a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold Wednesday night at a Food Lion on North Main Street in Cornelius.

The $2 ticket matched all five white balls, the North Carolina lottery officials said Thursday. The odds of that happening are nearly 1 in 11.7 million.

The winning numbers are 21-31-64-65-67 for the white balls. Winners have 180 days to collect their Powerball prize.

No one hit the the jackpot Wednesday, meaning Saturday night’s drawing is worth $266 million. Odds of matching all six numbers are 1 in 292 million.
