Charlotte traffic: Cars pulling to side of I-77 with flat tires

About a half-dozen cars with flat tires have pulled to the side of Interstate 77 southbound just before Remount Road Wednesday morning. The tires went flat after striking debris on the interstate. All lanes are open but moving slowly.

About a half-dozen cars with flat tires have pulled to the side of Interstate 77 southbound just before Remount Road Wednesday morning.

The tires went flat after striking debris on the interstate shortly before 7 a.m. All lanes are open, but traffic is slow.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police also are at an injury wreck on Eastway Drive at Shamrock Drive and a wreck in the 11800 block of Ardrey Kell Road.

Earlier wrecks have been cleared on Brookshire Boulevard at southbound Interstate 85 and in the 3700 block of North Tryon Street in north Charlotte.
