A Gastonia restaurant was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning as employees were shutting the place down.
Gastonia police say a robber went into Tavern 24 on Cox Road around 1:30 a.m. and revealed a shotgun. The gunman got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.
No one was injured during the robbery, police say. No arrests have been made.
