Atando Avenue at North Graham Street is closed after a car hit a power pole early Thursday.

No injuries were reported in the wreck. Atando was still closed at 6:15 a.m. as crews worked to repair the pole.

Also Thursday morning, a pedestrian suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Tom Hunter Road near North Tryon Street, Observer news partner WBTV reported. The pedestrian was hit about 5 a.m.

At 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were at wrecks on Providence Road at Kensal Court, on North College Street at East Sixth Street, on Oaklawn Avenue at Beatties Ford Road, in the 2600 block of Freedom Drive and on Commercial Avenue at The Plaza
