Horsing around

Horses and riders are showing off this week at the Charlotte Charity Horse Show at the Latta Plantation Equestrian Center in Huntersville. The 16th annual show began Thursday and concludes today, with proceeds benefitting Cook's Memorial Presbyterian Church. The Charlotte show is sanctioned by the American Saddlebred Association of the Carolinas. Competition begins today at 9 a.m. with younger riders, and the championship classes begin at 6 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
