4 men charged in shooting death of Fort Bragg soldier

Four men have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Fort Bragg soldier who was shot outside a nightclub in April.

Fayetteville police said Monday they've arrested 16-year-old Jeriamiah Markee Clark, 18-year-old Terrance Roberts, 20-year-old Roy Lee Hawk and 24-year-old James Anthony Carr. They're also charged with conspiracy and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police said Spc. Sergio Sanchez, 22, was shot April 12 after he walked up on a robbery in progress. Sanchez, of Oxford, Ala. was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division and had recently returned from Iraq.

The four men are being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond. A hearing is scheduled for today.
