Residents and business owners in east Charlotte will get their chance tonight to meet with new Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Chief Rodney Monroe.
Monroe, who is holding a series of public meetings in each of CMPD's 13 patrol divisions, will meet tonight in the Hickory Grove Division, which includes the area along East W.T. Harris Boulevard, Hickory Grove Road, and Albemarle Road.
Tonight's meeting will be from 6-7:30 p.m. at Independence High School, 1967 Patriot Drive, off Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road. Monroe will discuss issues, problems and potential solutions in the Hickory Grove Division area.
