Work on the $1.6 million Poplin Road project can begin as early as April 28 and must be completed by Nov. 15, although landscaping work can continue until May 2015. The project was awarded to Blythe Construction of Charlotte.
During the work, motorists will be detoured off Poplin Road onto Rocky River Road and Unionville-Indian Trail Road.
