Police responded to a wreck involving a motorcycle and a car on Cherry Road in Rock Hill on Sunday night.
Rock Hill officers were diverting traffic at the scene of the accident near Myrtle Drive, but reopened the road by early evening.
Rock Hill Executive Officer Mark Bollinger said a motorcycle rear-ended a Honda car. Two people in the car were transported to Piedmont Medical Center by ambulance and the motorcyclist was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Bollinger said the department’s serious accident reconstruction team was investigating the wreck. The (Rock Hill) Herald
