Today’s traffic: No major problems so far

No major problems have been reported Friday morning so far. Police have responded to several minor accidents resulting in property damage.

Personal injury was reported in an accident at 491 Kenilworth Avenue. Central Police responded to the wreck after it was reported around 10:17 a.m.

Two disabled vehicles on North Tryon Street have been reported this morning. University City police responded to 7700 North Tryon Street around 9:47 a.m. and 5265 North Tryon Street around 10:13 a.m.

University City has seen several issues this morning, with two vehicles disabled on roadways, one on North Tryon Street and and another on Technology Drive.

Steele Creek police responded to an accident in the roadway at 8010 South Tryon at 7:26 a.m. Only damage to property was reported.

9:10 a.m. update: Traffic on South Tryon Street remains slow after accident from earlier this morning.

A wreck in the road on South Boulevard and East I-485 Outer also resulted in property damage.

Independence police responded to a wreck at Sardis Road and Randolph Road around 6:23 a.m. Friday. Property damage was reported, though there was no personal injury.
