The Charlotte region can expect a chance of showers and thunderstorms every day this week, as temperatures gradually climb from the high 80s to low 90s.
Patchy fog between 7 and 8 a.m. Monday will give way to partly sunny skies, with a 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day and night, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast. The high will reach 88 degrees.
The greatest chance for showers and thunderstorms – 50 percent – will hit after 11 a.m. Tuesday, forecasters said. The high should dip a degree from Monday.
Temperatures will inch back up on Wednesday, with an expected high of 89 degrees and a 40 percent chance of precipitation, and then climb to 91 degrees on Thursday and 92 degrees Friday and Saturday.
