Some customers of Time Warner Cable reported Internet-related problems for a second straight day.
A little more than 24 hours after a nationwide outage knocked out Internet service to millions of Time Warner Cable customers, there were reports Thursday morning of service problems affecting some Internet-related programs.
Time Warner Cable’s website showed the number of complaints in Charlotte, Raleigh and cities elsewhere across the country spiked around 10:30 a.m. Social media reports from customers indicate the problems were confined to Microsoft programs, such as Outlook.

Time Warner Cable said Wednesday’s outage began during a routine maintenance operation. There was no immediate comment from the company.
