Wells Fargo sponsored one of the city’s more unique fundraisers Wednesday, when 10 charities were given 90 seconds each to make their best pitch in front of 300 bank employees. Attendees of the Flash Philanthropy Mixer then voted by text message for a winner. Crisis Assistance Ministry took the top prize of $5,000, while the nine other agencies got $1,000. The event kicks off the bank’s annual United Way and Arts & Science Council campaigns, which last year raised $11.6 million. Mark Price
