Three gay-rights advocates are charged with damaging property after confronting protesters outside a Greensboro fundraiser celebrating same-sex marriage and other social changes.
The News & Record of Greensboro reports the arrests Saturday night were outside an event for the Equality NC Foundation.
About a dozen protesters from Christ Fellowship Church in Davidson yelled at people entering the fundraiser. The groups began yelling at each other.
The church protest group was cited for violating the city’s noise ordinance. Associated Press
