Quests for perfect trees commence with fervor

With Thanksgiving over, it was time Sunday to start thinking about Christmas, and the first order of business for many people in Charlotte was to find a tree. Tree lots across the city were filled with families looking for the perfect tree for their homes. At Providence and Queens roads Sunday afternoon, three girls were doing their best to bring shoppers into the Myers Park United Methodist Church Christmas tree sale, which raises money for youth mission trips. And at the Darrell Simpson Family Mountain Greens Inc. tree lot on Kings Drive, families kept staff busy throughout the day. Dan Duffey
