South Charlotte motorists are experiencing heavy delays this morning from the Interstate 485 Inner Loop at McKee Road to the Johnston Road exit.
Meanwhile, an accident at University City Boulevard and I-485 is causing delays for motorists in northeast Charlotte.
A couple of road closures planned for northeast Charlotte are exacerbating the traffic. Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures on North Tryon Street between Pavilion Boulevard and Bruton Smith Boulevard.
Also, further south, North Tryon Street at Mallard Creek Church Road is closed for construction, with a detour for motorists.
