McAdenville lights up for Christmas Town USA

The lights turned on in McAdenville on Monday for the 59th Christmas Town USA event, which expects to draw 600,000 visitors.

The event runs until Dec. 26 and is open 5:30-9:30 p.m. weekdays; 5:30-11 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Details: www.mcadenville-christmastown.com.

Directions: I-85 North to Exit 22 to Lowell or I-85 South to Exit 27 to Belmont. Follow U.S. 29-74 West, turn right onto Wesleyan Drive.
