Authorities have arrested four suspects in the shooting death of Danny McGriff Jr., a 39-year-old man found dead at a Monroe hotel Tuesday night.
The suspects – Jarvis Dakota Miller, 27, of Monroe; Robert Cordara Hood, 27, of Monroe; Charles Denziele Hunt, 21, of Monroe; and Demetress Leandra Bennett, 23, of Wadesboro – were all charged Thursday with first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Miller was also charged with possession of a firearm by felon.
They are all being held under no bond in the Union County Jail.

Detectives with the Monroe Police Department and agents from the State Bureau of Investigation made the arrests.
McGriff, of Lancaster, S.C., was found dead at about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday on a walkway at the Relax Inn on the 600 block of West Roosevelt Boulevard, police said. He had had been shot in the chest.
“I appreciate all of the hard work of the detectives and the assisting agencies working around the clock to solve this case,” Monroe Police Chief Bryan Gilliard said.
