UPDATE: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials announced early Wednesday that the district will be operating on a normal schedule Wednesday. The district said high school exams will be administered, and high schools will release early at 12:15 p.m.
Despite freezing rain in the forecast, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools announced on its Twitter account that it will not make a decision on whether to delay school until Wednesday.
