Novant Health is hosting three health insurance sign-up events around Mecklenburg County as the 2015 enrollment period for subsidized coverage enters its final month.
People who don’t have insurance can buy it on the federal exchange, www.HealthCare.gov, through Feb. 15. Federal subsidies are available to low- and moderate-income people, with eligibility based on income and household size.
Novant will have its experts on hand to answer questions and help with enrollment at these events:
• Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at St. John’s Baptist Church, 300 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte.

• Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Novant Health Huntersville, 10030 Gilead Road, Huntersville.
• Feb. 5 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Novant Health Matthews, 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews.
