Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson apparently has a soft spot for brides-to-be, particularly when they take their wedding photos outside his Bank of America Stadium in uptown Charlotte.
The Observer’s news partner, WBTV, reports Dani Bigby was at the stadium getting wedding photos taken earlier this year when the team owner made her day by pulling up to the curb to talk.
“At first I thought it was just a nice pedestrian blocking traffic for us to make sure that the photographer didn’t get run over,” Bigby told WBTV.
Then she and her mother realized it was Richardson and “lost it.” He got out of the car and asked if he could take a picture with the “beautiful bride.”

“I was speechless,” Bigby told WBTV. “But then of course said, ‘Yes!’”
Richardson gave the bride-to-be a kiss on the cheek, asked about the wedding, and offered congratulations.
Bigby kept the photos a secret from the groom, Zach Bigby, until after their wedding as a surprise, WBTV reported.
