A wreck at 8 p.m. Saturday has shut three of the four lanes on Interstate 85 southbound a mile north of Concord Mills Road, near Concord.
It could take until 10 p.m. to clear the wreck, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation. No details about what happened are available or whether anyone was injured.
The wreck was the third to close lanes on I-85 southbound in Cabarrus County on Saturday.
A pickup truck burst into flames after colliding with an 18-wheeler on I-85 southbound near Kannapolis on Saturday morning. No one was injured, Concord Public Safety reported.

At 5 p.m., an 18-wheeler overturned near Dale Earnhardt Boulevard, Exit 60, spilling canned goods onto the highway. No injuries were reported.
