A sex offender on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office “most wanted” list has been arrested, according the Observer’s news partner, WBTV.
Tony Wingler, who was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a minor in 2002, is now facing felony charges for failing to notify the sheriff's office of an address change. Wingler, 37, reportedly last lived in Salisbury. He has been on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Most Wanted List since March 2016, WBTV reported.
He is currently being held at the Mecklenburg County detention center.
