The woman accused of nearly running over a group of bicyclists with her car Thursday, then photographed giving them the middle finger has deactivated her social media accounts after being threatened online, WCNC reported.

The woman told NBC Charlotte that she received threats on social media following Thursday’s run-in along a south Charlotte road. She’s working with police and is seeking legal help, WCNC reported.

WCNC said the event began when the woman cut in front of a group of 30 bicyclists and slammed on the brakes.

Photos of the woman posted on Facebook received hundreds of likes and comments.
