Concord-based advertising agency BD&H Marketing will assist Mooresville manufacturer Bestsweet Inc. in developing the company's brand position for Bee M.D. Organic Honey Throat Drops online and offline and expanding consumer engagement with the product's website, www.beemd.com.

In 2009, BD&H helped Bestsweet Inc. increase overall visitor traffic to the Bee M.D. website by at least 1,500 percent and search traffic at least 500percent, according to a news release.

"We have worked with this young brand to compete at the retail level with the Halls Naturals and Ricolas of the cough drop world, using a fraction of the budget," BD&H partner Alaine Bollinger said in announcing the agency's latest work with Bestsweet.

Bollinger said the agency developed and managed a successful You Tube video contest that drove consumers to the site and created awareness and excitement for the brand. BD&H also handles private labeling and branded packaging, as well as building multiple websites for Bestsweet.

Founded in 1983, BD&H serves such other clients as Windstream Communications, Coca-Cola, Sturm Foods, Freirich Foods and Niblock Homes.
