Cloverleaf Plaza merchants and other retailers will give refreshments and special discounts when the TIGI "Livin' the Dream" Traveling Salon Tour Bus visits the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Cosmetology Center from 12:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Cosmetology students will also conduct a haircut-athon and bake sale. Proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Retro Music & Sound opened recently at 126 S. Main St. in downtown Mooresville.

Partners Zach Leiner, Allen Rufty and Jeff Lackey have about 60 years of combined experience with musical instruments and audio/video/home theater equipment.

Retro sells electric and acoustic stringed instruments, PAs, brass and woodwinds. It also offers repairs, consignments and home theater installation.
