South Piedmont Conference cross-country team participated in two meets across the county last week.
The A.L. Brown boys and the Northwest Cabarrus girls won last Tuesday's meet.
The Kannapolis boys won by 31 points behind Jose Navarette's first-place finish. The Trojans finished second, and Jay M. Robinson was third. On the girls' side, Northwest took the meet by 21 points, led by Stephanie Isidori's second place finish. Brown went on to finish second, followed by Robinson.
Cox Mill swept the other meet. The Charger boys were led by Lucas Baity's third-place finish. Concord finished second by a single point, while Mount Pleasant was third and Hickory Ridge last.

Katie Coffelt's first-place finish propelled the Cox Mill girls to take the meet by 28 points. The Trojans finished second in the meet, and Concord was third.
