Curves of Mooresville, Premier Designs and Fashion with Grace are teaming up with the nonprofit Mooresville/Lake Norman Christian Mission to help Iredell County women put a finishing touch on their job-interview outfits.
Women are invited to bring their slightly used costume jewelry to a free seminar from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Curves of Mooresville, 463 E. Plaza Drive. All donated jewelry will be given to the Christian Mission's free store, and all profits from the show will be made as a cash donation to the Christian Mission.
Fashion with Grace owner Maryann McCann will present the seminar. No reservations are required.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College's Small Business Center will offer a free seminar Oct. 27 to help entrepreneurs learn how to turn their ideas and creations into products sold by large retailers.
"From Concept to Market" will be from 9 to 11 a.m. in the college's building on the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis.
Participants will hear about local entrepreneurs whose product creations were sold in Lowe's, Kohl's, Wal-Mart and other large retail chain stores.
The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Sept. 17 for Best Western Plus Huntersville Inn & Suites, 13830 Statesville Road.
Rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, wireless high-speed Internet access and cable satellite television.
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, full-service fitness center and a business center, and offers a free continental breakfast.
