Dancers ages 6-18 will perform with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra in Piedmont Dance Theatre's new production of "The Nutcracker" at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Catawba College's Keppel Auditorium in Salisbury.

This year's production has a cast of 76 and includes dancers from across the Charlotte region who study at the Kannapolis-based Piedmont School of Music and Dance.

Tickets are $20-$25 for adults and $10-$12 for ages 18 and younger.

Acting Up Children's Theatre will perform Disney's "101 Dalmatians Kids" at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Glenn Center, 120 Marsh Ave. N.W., Concord.

The December exhibition at the Cabarrus Art Guild's Brick Wall Gallery will be "All About Cabarrus."

The gallery is in The Depot at Gibson Mill, on McGill Avenue in Concord. The exhibition will be in honor of Jock Liles and the owners and managers of Gibson Mill.

An artists' reception and opening for the show will be 2-5 p.m. today.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. Most work will be available for purchase.

Tickets are available for the Mount Pleasant Historical Society's 2010 Christmas Tour of Historic Homes today.

The tour will be 2-7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students with ID. They are on sale at the museum, 1100 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant, at the entrance on North College Street.

Highlights include The President's House, the Lentz Hotel and the Dining Hall.
